Steam Pork Ribs with Taucu (Fermented Bean Paste) has a rich aromatic, salty and sweet taste from the fermented bean paste. Taucu (Fermented Bean Paste) is made from soya beans, salt and sugar. Its a staple dish in Malaysia. With only 3 ingredients, you can cook a tasty meal. I usually have it with a nice bowl of warm white rice. I cook steam pork ribs with taucu (fermented bean paste) when I feel like cooking easy and healthy authentic chinese recipe and I don’t feel like doing a lot of cleaning up.
Ingredients:
- Pork Ribs (500 grams)
- Garlic, finely chopped (6 cloves)
- Taucu, fermented bean paste (1 tablespoon)
Coriander for garnishing (optional)
Method:
- Finely chop 6 cloves of garlic
- Wash 500 grams of pork ribs
- Mix the pork ribs, garlic and taucu (fermented bean paste) – do not need to marinate. Can steam straight after mixing well
- Steam (high heat) for 25 minutes
