Roti Tisu is a sweet flatbread. It is very popular in Malaysia and served in Malaysian Mamak Stalls. Roti tisu is humongous in the Malaysian Mamak stalls. This recipe makes a mini version of it. This recipe makes super thin, crispy, crunchy pancake with a balance of sweet and savoury taste.
Roti Tisu is very similar to taiwanese street food style pancake known as “煎饼” but this pancake is paper thin and very crispy.
Only a few ingredients that you might already have in your pantry. Best served within the first 30 minutes of cooking. If not you can keep and reheat it in the oven. Can be served as it is or with any sweet or savoury dips or spreads. It also taste really good with ice cream!

Ingredients:
- 50 grams superfine all-purpose flour (can also use plain flour/all-purpose flour) 中筋面粉 50克
- 30 ml lukewarm water 温水 30克
- 1/4 teaspoon salt 盐 1/4茶匙
- 20 ml vegetable oil 菜油 20毫升
- 20 grams sugar 白糖 20克
- 20 grams salted butter 咸黄油 20克
