Ingredients

  • +/- 850 grams chicken +/- 850 克鸡肉
  • 2 cup rice 2 杯米饭
  • 1 3/4 to 2 cups water 1 3/4 至 2 杯水
  • 3-4 sprigs of thyme 3-4 枝百里香
  • 8 cloves garlic 8 瓣大蒜

Marinate chicken 腌制鸡肉:

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 茶匙盐
  • 1/4 lemon 1/4 个柠檬

Garnish 装饰:

  • Coriander 香菜

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken with salt and lemon juice for at least 30 minutes.
  • Rinse rice until the water runs clear. Set aside.
  • Roughly chop garlic and prepare fresh thyme.
  • In the rice cooker, sauté garlic, thyme, and chicken (skin side down) using Quick Cook or Cook Rice mode until the chicken skin turns golden.
  • Remove chicken, add rinsed rice and water, then place chicken back into the rice cooker. (skin side up).
  • Cook using the Rice function until done.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper, then garnish with coriander.
