Marinate chicken with salt and lemon juice for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse rice until the water runs clear. Set aside.
Roughly chop garlic and prepare fresh thyme.
In the rice cooker, sauté garlic, thyme, and chicken (skin side down) using Quick Cook or Cook Rice mode until the chicken skin turns golden.
Remove chicken, add rinsed rice and water, then place chicken back into the rice cooker. (skin side up).
Cook using the Rice function until done.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, then garnish with coriander.
